Adria Kimball Hillman Berry
Adria Kimball Hillman Berry, 86, one of the first women to work in real estate sales in the Milwaukee area, died of leukemia in her Glendale home Sunday.
Berry had several different careers throughout her life. She taught art when she was very young. During the early to mid-1950s she served as private secretary for Frank Verbest, president of Blatz Brewery. Soon after she left Blatz, Berry worked in real estate until she married again in the late '50s.
Berry was also a member of the Glendale Women's Club.
Survivors include her son, Richard Kimball, of Milwaukee; two step-sons, Joe and Jan Berry, of Iowa City and Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters and a brother.
Private family services will be held this week.
