Mrs. Louise H. Sughroue, 82, 1002 N. Day Ave., died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 1965 in Americana Nursing Center after a long illness.

Born Aug. 1, 1882 in Freeport, Ill., daughter of John and Anna Schopf. Lived 45 years in Rockford, coming here from Freeport. Married to Joseph Sughroue in Freeport, May 4, 1921. Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. A charter member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Survivors include: two sons, Russell G. Meads and Joseph F. Sughroue, both of Rockford; a daughter, Mrs. Eileen Lindsey, Rockford; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Dooean?, Loves Park, Mrs. John Sughroue, Pecatonica and Mrs. Theresa Nampel, Milwaukee, Wis. Her husband predeceased her in 1963.

Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., and at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Raymond M. Eipers, pastor of the church officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
