Erle H. Hollingsworth
ONARGA - Erle H. Hollingsworth, 75, Onarga, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 14, 1993) at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.
He was cremated. His memorial service will be at a later date. Knapp Funeral Home, Onarga, was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Delrey, a son of Victor and Mildred Lyon Hollingsworth. He married Blanche Lindsay March 28, 1948, in Onarga. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Larry Hollingsworth, Collierville, Tenn.; John Hollingsworth, Prospect Heights; and Tom Hollingsworth, Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Mary Tilstra, Onarga; Nancy Hollingsworth, Corona, Calif.; and Ruth Hollingsworth, Champaign; one brother, Robert Hollingsworth, Kankakee; two sisters, Ava Warfel, in Florida, and Wilma Fryer, Covina, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One granddaughter preceded him in death.
Mr. Hollingsworth was a foreman for Uniroyal Co. before his retirement.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Onarga American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
