HUFFMAN RITES SET IN COLFAX

COLFAX, Wash., May 26 - Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Bruning's chapel for Henry Huffman, 83, Whitman county pioneer, who died at his home last weekend.

His body was found Sunday night by Jack Adams, Ewann grocer, who was making a call.

The Rev. Charles Knox will officiate and burial will be in Steptoe.

Born in Missour, Mr. Huffman came to the district 68 years ago. He lived in the vicinity of Colfax, Steptoe and St. John.

Survivors include four sons, Oscar and James, Libby, Mont.; Allen M. Huffman, Goldbar, Wash. and Delaney [sic?] Huffman; a daughter, Mrs. Bernadine Henderson, Spokane; and two sisters, Mrs. Elgen Day and Mrs. Lena Ramsey, Colfax.

Henry married Millie Arvilla Rodecape, daughter of Allen R. Rodecape and Sophronia Rambo, about 1891.
