CARROLL - Clair D. King, 71, died Dec. 3, 1982, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born April 14, 1911, in Carroll, the son of Herbert and Susan (Hall) King. He was a Star Route mail carrier for 36 years and school bus driver for the town of Carroll for six years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna (Glidden) King of Carroll; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Monroe and Mrs. Teresa King, both of Lincoln; one brother, Percy King of North Anson; six grandchildren, Brian, Malcolm and Shari Monroe and Stuart, Darla-Hope and Dale Ann King, all of Lincoln.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Clay, Stevens and Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Richard Small officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Carroll. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
