MRS. AUSTIN HAM
SPRINGFIELD - Mrs. Gertrude E. Ham, 70, died in Lincoln, April 28.
She was born in Millinocket, March 24, 1904, the daughter of Fred and Ada (Moores) Orr. She was a former member of the Baskahegan Grange, Carroll.
She is survived by her husband, Austin of Lincoln; four sons, Harold, Norman, Lawrence and Keith, all of Springfield; eight daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Comer of Long Island City, N.Y., Mrs. Blanche White, Mrs. Joyce Tozier, Mrs. Jean Sawtelle and Mrs. Linda Doane, all of Springfield, Mrs. Ruth Gibbs of Tewksbury, Mass., Mrs. Catherine Granville of Meriden, Conn., Mrs. Marjorie Budge of Middleton, N.J.; one brother, Alonzo Orr of Connecticut; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Cole, Mrs. Ruth Brittain of Springfield, Mrs. Ida Tibbetts of Cheshire, Conn., Mrs. Helen Cocchiola of Prospect, Conn.; 32 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, the Rev. Alfred O'Donnell officiating. Interment will be in the Village Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9.
