Mildred Gowen Lindsay, age 73, died November 6 at the home of her son, Albert H. Lindsay at Montague, where she had been residing for several weeks. She was a resident of North Monmouth in Maine.

Widow of George A. Lindsay. She was a member of North Monmouth Church; Eastern Star; Willing Worker; and, North Monmouth School Board.

For a number of years she served as librarian at North Monmouth and was active in all community affairs.

Interment in Glenside Cemetery.
