LEEDS BOY DROWNED

Leeds, June 24 --
The citizens of Leeds were very much shocked and saddened last night when Reginald Bishop, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. N.R. Bishop, was drowned in Androscoggin Lake. He was working at Camp Sunny Crest. He and David Hamburger, a younger boy, went from the camp to Leeds Center and were returning when the canoe was upset in some way. The Hamburger boy was rescued.

Reginald was a very promising young man who had just completed his course at Leavitt Institute and planned to enter college in September.

His parents have the sympathy of the community.
