No service will be held for Irene Ruby Hendricks, 65, at her request. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston, Ore. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hendricks, who was born in Fargo, N.D., died Tuesday.
She had lived in Spokane from 1955 until 1981.
In Spokane she was a Cub Scout den mother and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
She and her husband moved to Stanfield in 1981.
She is survived by husband Allen Hendricks of Stanfield; two sons, Jim Hendricks of Pasco and David Hendricks of Spokane; one daughter, Renee Hendricks of Spokane; three brothers, Larry Vance and Bud Vance, both of Spokane, and Keith Vance of Great Falls, Mont.; a sister, Barbara Coates of Spokane; and two grandchildren.
Irene married Allen James Hendricks, son of William Sylvester Hendricks and Anna Jane McAlonan. (Allen James Hendricks was born 27 May 1927 in Orange Township, Minnesota,1570 died 8 March 2005 in Stanfield, Umatilla County, Oregon 3361,3362 and was cremated after 8 March 2005 in Hermiston, Umatilla County, Oregon at Burns Mortuary 3362.) The cause of his death was pneumonia.
