Lindsey, Herschel D. (Age 82) -- Entered into rest October 7, 2000 in Spokane, his lifetime residence.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla J. Lindsey, at home; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Richard Pease of Tacoma, WA; great-grandson, Kaleb; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a son, Tommy at the age of 10.
Herschel was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church, member of North Hill Masonic Lodge #210 F & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, El Katif Shrine Band, Royal Order of Jesters Court 65, Spokane Retired Educators Association, Washington State and National Education Association.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2000 at 3 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4202 N. Belt. Rev. Robert Chenault officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or Shriners Hospital for Children, PO Box 2472, Spokane, WA 99210. Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division in charge of arrangements.
