DANIEL C. GREGORY

Daniel C. Gregory, 89, formerly of Brockway township, St. Cloud, died Sunday morning. He was born Jan. 18, 1873. On Oct. 30, 1901, he married the former Lucy Lindsay at the Presbyterian Church, St. Cloud. They lived on the family farm until he retired in 1938 and went to live with his son. Since 1948 they have lived in Anoka.

Gregory was a member of the Unity Lodge 93 and Crescent Chapter No. 52 of Eastern Star, both in Sauk Rapids.

Gregory is survived by his wife, one son, Faye, Anoka; two daughters, Mrs. D.R. Hester (Maybelle), Robbinsdale; Mrs. A.H. Crosby (Viola), Cresswell, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Koch, Breckenridge; Mrs. Joe Fall, Morris, and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Colbert Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday until time of the funeral which will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Colbert Chapel. Burial will be made in the Brockway township cemetery.

GREGORY FUNERAL

Funeral services for Daniel C. Gregory were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Colbert Chapl, Rev. Paul Folkers, Methodist minister from Anoka, officiated. Mrs. William Kimball was organist.

Pallbearers were James Campbell, Jack Sparrow, Alfred Lindsay, Clarence, Louise and Eugene Smitten.

The honor escort from Unity Lodge 93 AF and AM was Ripley Sartell, Arthur Pearson, Fermie Arensberger, Charles Walker, Lester Soveriegn and Lisle Evans. Masonic graveside services were presided over by Evans at Brockway township cemetery.
