Donald R. Hester, 93, of Peoria, a retired supply supervisor with US West, died Dec. 22, 1997. He was born in Kankakee, Ill.

Survivors include his wife, Maybelle G.; son, David; sister, Mildred Frampton; brother, Arnold; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
