Claire S. Keating, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, in Halcyon House after a 10-month illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, United Methodist Church, Washington, by the Rev. Robert Bell. Burial: Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Sunday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, Washington, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Millie; two daughters, Cheryl Nugent of Urbandale and Jenny Keating of Pella; and three sons, Stevan and Kent, both of Washington, and Scott of Los Alamos, N.M.
