Mrs. Regina A. Birt
Mrs. Regina A. Birt, 75, of 118 Cocheco St., Dover, formerly of Porpoise Way here, died at a Dover hospital Wednesday after a long illness.
Mrs. Birt was born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, March 1, 1894, daughter of James and Catherine (Herbert) Sullivan and lived here until seven years ago.
She was the widow of former city councilman Samuel H. Birt and was a member of St. Catherine's Church and the Gold Star Mothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ursula Knowles, Dover, and Mrs. Regina A. Webber, Alexandria, Va.; three sons, Louis S., Portsmouth, Jack, New Palz, New York, and Franklin, New York City; a brother, Thomas, Berlin; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Anna married Samuel Herbert Birt.
