Death Takes Mother of Mrs. Webb Stevens
Mrs. Mary Howe Rogers of Chicago, mother of Mrs. Webb C. Stevens, 124 Glen Road, Rockford, died at 1 o'clock this morning at Memorial hospital, Chicago.
Mrs. Rogers was well known in Rockford, having visited here frequently.
Besides Mrs. Stevens, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Larrabee, Evanston; two sons, Samuel Rogers, Lombard, and Charles Rogers, Cleveland; a sister, Annie Lyon Howe and a brother Winthrop K. Howe, both of Rochester, N.Y.
Her husband was business manager of the Chicago Daily News from 1881 until his death in 1908.
Private funeral services will be held in Oak Park Thursday.
