SADIE L. MONROE

CARROLL, Maine and TEMPLE CITY, Calif. - Sadie L. Monroe, 94, died Dec. 24, 1977 in Temple City. She was born June 6, 1883 in Carroll.

She is survived by three sons, Philip of Azusa, Calif., George of Garland and Roger of Glendora, Calif.; six daughters, Evelyn Foster of North Windham, Maine, Louise Timmons of West Corvina, Calif., Ora Monroe of Temple City, Phyllis Settles of Turner, Ore., Virginia Reed of Ventura, Calif. and Sona Avis [sic] of Arcadia, Calif.; two brothers, Vern Lindsey of Lincoln, Wayne Lindsay of South Paris, Maine; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. at Hillside Church, Rose Hill Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif.
