Olin Sohm
Olin Sohm, resident of Fremont, entered into rest on March 6, 2009 at the age of 84.
Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Sohm. Beloved father to David Sohm, Barbara Ekbom, Joseph Sohm, Jim Sohm, and Margaret Miranda. Survived by his grandchildren: Sarah, Jill, Moa, Emil, Jason, Daniel, and Carly; and great-granddaughter Mia.
Olin was born on May 24, 1924 in Oakland, CA, and was a lifelong resident of Alameda County. He was also a United States Army veteran of WWII. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in business and worked for Del Monte Foods for over 40 years. Olin always said the best decision he ever made was to marry his wonderful wife, Jane.
