PHILIP R. HAM

SPRINGFIELD - Philip R. Ham, 61, died March 8 in Springfield.

He was born here, July 28, 1914, the son of Raymond and Lula (Lombard) Ham. He was employed as a busdriver and custodian of the Springfield School for 10 years prior to his employment with the State Highway Department. He retired from the department last fall.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes (Monroe) Ham, of Springfield; a step-mother, Mrs. Pluma Ham of Lincoln; one son, Philip Jr. of Lewiston; one; one daughter, Mrs. Leslie Ann Keith of Lincoln; one brother, Eric of Springfield; one half-brother, Robert Ham of Groton, Conn.; one step-brother, Clifford Budge of Lincoln; one-step sister, Mrs. Ellen Quinn of Griffin, Ga.; four grandchildren, Robin, Elizabeth and Russell Keith, all of Lincoln, Janice Springer of Smithfield; one aunt, several cousins and nieces and nephews.

A funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Guy Bourrie officiating. Spring burial will be in Mills Cemetery in Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Philip married Agnes Isabelle Monroe, daughter of Guy Francis Monroe and Jennie G.
