MRS. BRYAN SPRINGER, JR.
SMITHFIELD AND SPRINGFIELD - Mary Jane Springer, 29, died at a New York hospital June 16 after a short illness. She was born in Lincoln Oct. 6, 1944, the daughter of Philip and Agnes (Monroe) Ham.
Besides her parents of Springfield, she is survived by her husband, Bryan Springer, Jr. of Smithfield; one daughter, Janice of Smithfield; one brother, Philip, Jr. of Auburn; and one sister, Mrs. Ann Keith of Lincoln.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln, the Rev. Theodore Wallace officiating. Interment will be in the Mills Cemetery in Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mary married Bryan J. Springer Jr., son of Bryan J. Springer and Cora Eliza Muncey, 1 June 1963 in Maine.9653 (Bryan J. Springer Jr. was born 4 June 1940 in Weston, Aroostook County, Maine 9656 and died 13 July 1999 in Mercer, Somerset County, Maine 9656,9657.) The cause of his death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
