MRS. HARRY F. MADDEN

GREENFIELD -- Mrs. Callie M. Madden, 96, died in a Lincoln nursing home May 3 after a short illness. She was the widow of Harry F. Madden. She was born in Passadumkeag March 28, 1878, daughter of Nelson and Julia (Morrill) Cary. She had lived in Greenfield most of her life. She attended the Greenfield Baptist Church and was a past member of the Costigan Grange. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julia Harris of Greenfield; two sons Erold Madden of Milford and Guy Madden of Greenfield; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Craig Meader Funeral Home, 24 High St., Old Town, Monday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Carl Smith of the Greenfield Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
