MRS. JULIA ANN HARRIS
GREENFIELD -- Julia Ann Harris, 79, widow of Darrell Harris, died suddenly Jan. 30 at her home in Greenfield. She was born in Greenbush, Jan. 8, 1898, the daughter of Harry F. and Callie (Cary) Madden. She was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church. She had been the town clerk of Greenfield for many years. She is survived by one son, Fernald Harris of Greenfield; five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Faith) Watson of Greenfield, Mrs. Alden (Irma) Bradbury and Mrs. Irvin (Hope) Buchanan both of Old Town, Mrs. Warren (Glenice) Nye of Monroe, N.H., Mrs. Melville (Wilda) Gould of Millinocket; one sister [sic], Mrs. Earl (Mabel) Sanborn of Cardville; two brothers, Erold Madden of Milford, Guy Madden of Greenfield; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Baillargeon Funeral Home, Old Town, Tuesday 7 p.m. with Rev. Charles Mason officiating. Spring burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday after 3 p.m. Those who wish may contribute to the Greenfield Baptist Church in her memory.
