Hope M. Buchanan
BRADLEY and OKEECHOBEE, FLA. -- Hope Madden Buchanan, 68, devoted wife and mother, died Nov. 16, 1995 at a Okeechobee, Fla. hospital. She was born in Milford, April 1, 1927, the daughter of Darrell M. and Julia A. (Madden) Harris. She was a graduate of Old Town High School and was secretary and treasurer of Irvin Buchanan, Inc. for 25 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Okeechobee. In addition to her husband, Irvin T. Buchanan, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Buchanan of Lake Worth, Fla., Thomas and Mary Lou Buchanan of Bradley; three sisters, Irma Bradbury of Old Town, Glennis Nye of Monroe, N.H., Wilda Gould of Millinocket; two grandsons, Shawn T. Buchanan of Montgomery, Ala. and Daniel M. Buchanan of Newton, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Fernald Harris; one sister, Faith Watson; one grandson, Thomas I. Buchanan III "Baby Tommy". A memorial mass will be held in the spring at Holy Family Parish, Old Town, at a time to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Maine Chapter, Waterville 04901. Arrangements by Foley Funeral Service, Bangor.
