Guy Buckley Dies At Home In Leeds
LEEDS -- Guy G. Buckley, 80, died at his home Monday after a long illness.

He was born March 3, 1891 in Leeds, the son of Ralph and Rozilla Gilbert Buckley. He was educated in Leeds schools and in 1914 married Gladys Canwell at Leeds. Mr. Buckley was a member of the Community Church, the Grange, and Monmouth Lodge AF & AM. He was a member of the 88th, 91st and 104th Legislatures representing Leeds, Webster, Wales and Greene. Mr. Buckley was selectman for a number of years and was a member of numerous farm organizations, having been a farmer all his life.
Surviving are his widow of Leeds; three sons, Russell and Gilbert of Leeds and Raymond of Lansing, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Marion Leavitt, Monmouth; a brother, Forest of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and ten grandchildren.
DIED -- In Leeds, July 19, 1971, Guy G. Buckley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at the Bragdon - Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Tuesday afternoon and evening. Interment Leeds Center Cemetery.
