Alvah Canwell
NORTH MONMOUTH -- Alvah M. Canwell, 50, died at his home unexpectedly Saturday morning.
He was born Oct. 5, 1928, in North Monmouth, the son of G. Clifton and Celia Bryant [sic] Canwell. He was educated in Monmouth schools and was an IBM programmer for Progessive Foods, Winthrop, until his retirement.
Surviving are his parents of North Monmouth; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Kenfield, North Monmouth, Mrs. Colleen Daponte, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Virginia Webb, Winthrop, Mrs. Joyce Proulx, Brewer, Mrs. Doris Gaibler, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Lorraine Kelley, Farmingdale; two brothers, Blaine of Winthrop and Wayne of Augusta; and a daughter, Deborah of California.
Funeral Notice
CANWELL -- In North Monmouth, Feb. 24, 1979, Alvah M. Canwell, age 50. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Bragdon Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Tuesday 2-4 an 7-9 p.m. Interment Ridge Cemetery in the spring.
