George L. Lindsay, 86, of Phoenix, AZ was born February 23, 1920 in St. Cloud MN, he passed away Friday, September 1, 2006 at home with family present.

George was preceded in death by his mother Frances and father Ernest, brothers Vernon (Jack) and Ernest. He is survived by his wife, Fern, daughters Frances (James) Bennett, and Jacqueline, sons Bruce and George and 4 grandchildren, Michael, Autumn, Bruce and James.

George served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a POW in Germany.
He was employed by Borden Dairy Company in Chicago for 30 years and Deans Foods in Huntley, IL for 15 years.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 7 at 12:30 P.M. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix, AZ. Memorial donations in George's name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Shadow Mountain Mortuary.
