Fern R. Lindsay, 80, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on May 27, 2010.
She was born on October 13, 1929 in Verdal, South Dakota [sic] and raised in Niobrara, Nebraska. Fern graduated from Niobrara High School in 1946.
She was predeceased by her husband; her parents, Clarence D. [sic] and Olive Mackey; her brother, Clarence D.; and sisters, Kay Perry, Opal Whalton, Jean Brown and Bernice Mackey.
Fern enjoyed sewing, making her own clothes, and travel.
She is survived by four children, Frances B. Bennett (James), Jacqueline K. Lindsay, Bruce A. Lindsay, Sr. and George Lindsay. She also has four grandchildren, Autumn R Heinrich, James Bennett, Bruce A Lindsay, Jr. and Michael E. Lindsay.
Visitation will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., followed by burial at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
