Funeral Mrs. E.A. Lindsay

The funeral of Mrs. E.A. Lindsay, widow of the late Everett Lindsay, was held at her former home in North Monmouth Sunday at 10:30. Rev. [--?--] of Norway, a former pastor, was the officiating clergyman.

Mrs. Lindsay died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Charles Sandborn in Beverlv, Mass. She was the mother of seven children, all of whom were present at the funeral. Three sons and two daughters reside in Beverly. One daughter, Mrs. F.F. Walker, and one son, George A. Lindsay, reside in North Monmouth .

The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The burial was in Leeds.

Roscoe Greene Lindsay was born 5 February 1833 in Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine,⁶⁵⁸ died 10 September 1864 in Barrancas, Florida ^659,660 and was buried after 10 September 1864 in Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine at Union Cemetery (formerly Wade's Cor. Cemetery) ²⁴⁹.) The cause of his death was chronic diarrhea. He died in a regimental hospital (field tent).

Eliza next married Everett Lindsay, son of Capt. Howard Lindsay and Caroline Lindsay, 20 October 1869 in Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine.⁶⁴⁸ (Everett Lindsay was born 20 May 1831 in Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine,²⁴⁹ died 18 January 1903 in Monmouth, Kennebec County, Maine ^597,649 and was buried after 18 January 1903 in Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine at Union Cemetery (formerly Wade's Cor. Cemetery) ⁶⁴⁹.) The cause of his death was due to a disease resulting from rheumatism.
