MRS. ETTA S. HILL
SEBEC -- Mrs. Etta S. Hill, 81, widow of Elmer Hill, died unexpectedly Nov. 15 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rex Varnum, where she made her home.
Born in Sebec, Dec. 15, 1889, she was the daughter of Lewis J. and Effie (Dow) Drinkwater.
She was a 50 year member of the Dover Grange.
Surviving besides her daughter, Mrs. Rex (Beatrice) Varnum of Sebec, are two brothers, Zebulon Drinkwater of East Dover and Walter of Guilford; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Roberts of East Dover and Mrs. Kate Berce of Presque Isle; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with the Rev. Leslie R. Craig officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Gray Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
