PRESTON P. SAVAGE
MILFORD -- Preston P. Savage, 84, husband of the late Laura Finley Savage, died July 23, 1997, at an Orono health-care center, after complications from surgery.
He was born April 10, 1913, in LaGrange, the son of Walter and Flora (Bishop) Savage. He retired from General Foods in Newark, Del.
He is survived by a step-son, Frank W. Smith of Portland; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces, Arlene Cabanaugh and Joyce Maykut.
He was predeceaesd by his wife, Laura, in 1992; and a brother, Fred.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday at Kiley-Birmingham Funeral Home, 287 S. Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Harold Grove officiating. Interment will be in Lawndale Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the Milford Congregational Church, Main Road, Milford 04461.
