MILFORD -- Laura E. Savage, 83, wife of Preston Savage, died Sept. 22, 1992, at a Bangor nursing home.
She was born in Milltown, Jan. 13, 1909, the daughter of Frank and Margaret Finley. She was employed for many years at the Ounegan Woolen Mill of Old Town.
In addition to her husband of Milford, she is survived by one son, Frank Smith of Portland; one sister, Grace Lujinsky of Connecticut; one brother, Alden Finley of Arizona; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Kiley-Birmingham Funeral Home, 287 S. Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Marilyn Wilcox Cowing officiating. Interment will be in Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. At her request, there will be no visiting hours. Donations in her memory may be made to Milford Congregational Church, care of Ida Parks, PO Box 42, Milford 04461.
