HARLAND E. COLE
LINCOLN -- Harold E. Cole, 73, died July 6, 1991 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born in Springfield July 14, 1917, the son of Lyndon and Lillian (Downs) Cole.
He was employed as an electrician at Lincoln Pulp and Paper Co. for over 33 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Lincoln Fish and Game Club.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta (Archer) Cole; one son, Sheldon and his wife Peggy Cole, all of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Kelly Cole of Alton and Andrew Cole of Lincoln; two sisters, Glenace Hanscom of Lincoln, Ava Linscott of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jane Sabean officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
