MRS. LILLIAN M. COLE
BANGOR, SPRINGFIELD -- Lillian M. Cole, 85, widow of Lyndon H. Cole, died in Bangor Nov. 2. She was born in Springfield March 31, 1891, the daughter of Samson and Martha (Stanley) Downs.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bangor, former school teacher.
She is survived by one son, Harland E. Cole of Lincoln; two daughters, Mrs. Earle (Ava) Linscott of Springfield, Mrs. Lewis (Glenice) Hanscom of Mattawamkeag; four grandchildren, Fernald Linscott of Springfield, Gloria Kulberg of Bangor, Sheldon Cole of Lincoln, Althea Hamlin of Caribou; nin great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln, Saturday, 1 p.m., Rev. Clayton Woodbury officiating. Interment will be in the Cole Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
