MECHANIC FALLS -- Percy J. Clark, 60, died at CMG Hospital, Sunday morning, after a short illness.
Born at Fort Fairfield, April 20, 1893, the son of John and Alice Day Clark, he lived here about seven years coming from Wales. For the past five years he was employed as night watchman at Waterfalls Tissue Corp. here. He was a member of Wales Grange, No. 40.
Surviving are his widow, the former Inez Oakes, Mechanic Falls; three sons, Ralph J., Mechanic Falls, Roy P., Wales, Preston F., New Britain, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Tinkham, Mechanic Falls, Mrs. Geraldine Tinkham, Auburn; a brother, Walter K., Kittery; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Fields, South Portland; his mother, Mrs. Alice Clark, Auburn, and five grandchildren.
