Inez E. Clark

AUBURN --
Inez E. Clark, 89, formerly of Great Falls Plaza and 19 Sunset Court, died Saturday morning at Clover Manor Nursing Home after a lingering illness.

Born at Moose Mountain, New Brunswick, May 1, 1902, she was the daughter of Freeman D. and Sarah Van Dine Oakes. She was educated in New Brunswick schools.

Mrs. Clark had been a homemaker all her life and was married to Percy J. Clark, who died in 1953.

She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Auburn.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Phyllis) Tinkham of Mechanic Falls and Mrs. Wendell (Geraldine) Tinkham of Auburn; three step-sons, Ralph Clark of Freeport, Roy Clark of Leeds and Preston Clark of Hartford, Conn.; two sisters, Ada Foster of Juniper, New Brunswick, and Verna Hamilton of Skowhegan; one brother, Lester Oakes of Bath, New Brunswick; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
