Kenneth Dube

Kenneth Dube, 65, died at Maine Medical Center on Dec. 31st following complications of a stroke.

He was born in Lewiston, son of Arthur and Helen Gallagher Dube. He attended
Lewiston Schools and graduated from Lewiston High school in 1966. He began work at CMP in 1969 and worked there until retirement in 2005. He married Serena Wuori in 1977 and they had two sons, Nickolas and Benjamin.

Kenny had a big heart and a great love for life and a wonderful sense of humor, which helped him and his family through many difficult times. He was an avid sports fan who participated in league bowling for years as well as a scorekeeper for the LA slow-pitch softball league. His greatest interest was horse racing and he loved to "put the George Washington's on the ponies"

He believed in paying it forward, whether cooking holiday meals at Calvary United Methodist Church, where he was a member, or driving for road to recovery, or helping anyone who needed it with a ready smile and a joke. He loved to make birthday calls to friends and family.

He is survived my his wife of 35 years, Serena; his sons, Scott, Nick and Ben, and future daughter-in-law, Mindy Davis; grandchildren, Amanda and Jonathan; his mother, Helen Dube; brother, Peter and his wife, Pat; sister-in-law, Diane; and his life long friend, Warner Peaco.

He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Dube; brother, Mark; and grandmother, "NANA" Lillian Gallagher.

There will be a memorial service at Calvary United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 5th @ 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church City Mission Project.
