Mark C. Dube
BOSTON, Mass. -- Mark C. Dube, 41, of 567 Pond Road, Lewiston, died Thursday, Aug. 21 at Brigham & Woman's Hospital after a brave and courageous battle from complications from a bone marrow transplant in 1995.
He was born in Lewiston, April 29, 1956, the son of Arthur A. and Helen (Gallagher) Dube. He was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1974 and served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was married to Diane Beaule on July 1, 1978. Mr. Dube was employed as a lead electrical technician for Central Maine Power Co. until his death. He was a licensed master electrician and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' Local #1837. There he held many offices.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider, participated in the Iron Man Triathalon and the Boston Triathalon. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, biking, auto racing and Patriots football. He also enjoyed his family, attending his children's sporting events and lived every moment to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Richelle, two sons, Brent and Ryan, and his parents, all of Lewiston; two brothers, Kenneth of Poland and Peter of Greene; and nieces and nephews.
