HAZEL N. McLELLAN
GREENVILLE and TOPSFIELD -- Hazel N. McLellan, 89, died March 16, 1987 at a Greenville hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Topsfield Sept. 27, 1897, the daughter of Amos and Getrude (Rouix) Noyes.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, in 1974. She had been a lifetime active participant in the Topsfield and Greenville churches.
She was esteemed and loved by her son, Roger McLellan of Greenville; her daughter and son-in-law, Audry and Vaughn Thornton of Greenville, with whom she made her home; and a host of friends. Also surviving are two sisters, Louise Noel of West Haven, Conn., and Ruby Andrews of Harwich, Mass.; one brother, Charles Noyes of Topsfield; 13 grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Union Evangelical Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Harvey Funeral Home, Greenville. Spring interment will be in the family lot, Topsfield Cemetery.
