Rena L. Willey 1913 - 1998
SKOWHEGAN -- Rena Leadbetter Willey, 85, formerly of Livermore Falls and South Paris, died Friday, Sept. 25, at a Skowhegan nursing home, after a period of declining health.
Born at Leeds, Jan. 12, 1913, the daughter of Shirley and Nellie Danforth Leadbetter, she graduated from Farmington Normal School in 1932 and was a teacher at Livermore Falls and South Paris.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret W. Rollins and her husband David of Troy, N.H., and Joan W. Deering and her husband Cabot of Sidney; one sister, Rachel L. White and her husband Shelton, of Auburn; one brother, George Leadbetter and his wife Elaine, of Newport; one sister-in-law, Eunice Leadbetter of North Livermore; four grandchildren, J. Rodney Rollins of Tacoma, Wash., Lisa Rollins of Rye, N.H., Jeremiah Deering of Saco, and Nathaniel Deering of Sidney; two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Bradan Rollins of Tacoma, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Winston E. Willey in April of 1970.

WILLEY -- Funeral services will be held at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 261 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, ME Monday, September 28, 1998 at 10 a.m. with burial at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta at 1 p.m. The Rev. Mark Tanner will be officiating. At the request of the family there will be no public calling hours. Donations may be made in her memory to the Amerian Cancer Society, Maine Division, Inc. 52 Federal St., Brunswick ME 04011-2194. Arrangements are under the direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 261 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, ME.
