STRATTON -- William Francis Higgins, injured fatally in a sliding accident, Monday afternoon, was born April 9, 1948, at Rumford. Surviving are his father, Leroy Higgins, Rumford; his mother, Mrs. Marion Jones Bonnell, Stratton; a half brother, Scott Bonnell and his grandmother, Mrs. Erma Johnson, Stratton; several aunts and uncles.
DIED -- at Stratton, Dec. 29, William Francis Higgins, aged 4 years. Funeral services from Stratton Union Church Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the new addition of Upper Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Rowe Funeral Home, Rangeley.
