LINCOLN -- Laura Mary Thompson, 87, died Jan. 15, 2000 at a Lincoln hospital. She was born July 28, 1912, in Lincoln, the daughter of Augustus and Mary (Babcock) Ludden.
Her whole live was devoted to her husband, children and grandchidren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed snow-sledding, camping and fishing. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star and member of the Farmer's Bureau.
She is survived by one son, Calvin A. Thompson and his wife Dorothy of Lincoln; two brothers, Hiram Ludden and his wife, Colleen and Magnus Ludden, both of Lincoln; a sister, Glennis Poisson of Salisbury, N.H.; her grandchildren, Sandra Delano and her husband Danny and children, Ryan and Brandon of Pittsflied, Patsy Dyer and her husband, Bob and her children, Jamie and Jason Pangburn, Jodi and Jinger of Sherman Mills, Mary Keegan and her husband, George and children Zachary and Alexandra of Lincoln and Gay Thompson and Steve Proctor and children, Travis and Eliza of Lincoln. She was predeceased by her husband, William Henry Thompson, their daughter, Wilhemina Mae Porter, and a brother, Joseph Ludden.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glenn Speed officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wilhemina Thompson Porter Scholarship. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
