AUGUSTUS LUDDEN
LINCOLN - Augustus Ludden, 87, died Aug. 13 at a local nursing home. He was born at Lee, Maine May 5, 1887, the son of Edwin and Mary (Reed) Ludden.
He was a member of the Horeb Lodge of Masons and Minerva Lodge of Odd Fellows, both of Lincoln, Mattanawcook Grange of Lincoln Center, and the Lincoln Center Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Joseph of Winston Salem, N.C., Hiram of Lincoln, Magnus, Waukegan, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Thompson of Lincoln, Mrs. Glenice Poisson of Laconia, N.H.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Barton Funeral Home, the Rev. Theodore Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9. Masonic memorial services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
