FRANCES G. ALEXANDER
CAMDEN -- Frances G. Alexander, 55, of Matthew John Avenue, died unexpectedly after a brief illness, Jan. 30, 1994, at a Rockport hospital.
She was born at Camden, Oct. 21, 1938, the daughter of Herbert and Alyce (Thompson) Alexander. She was a 1957 graduate of Rockport High School. She had been employed for many years Tibbetts Industries in Camden. She loved to play the piano and loved gardening and growing plants. Miss Alexander was a very active member of the Rockport Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother of Rockland; a sister, Candace Arau of Rockland; a niece, Cathleen Harris of Chantilly, Va.; and a nephew, Alexander Arau of Warren.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rockport Baptist Church. Burial will be in West Rockport Cemetery in the springtime. Relatives and friends may call at Carpenter Funeral Home, 306 Broadway, Rockland, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
