ROBERT G. HALE, 34; MANAGED DELICATESSEN
ROCHESTER, N.H. - Services were held yesterday at 1 p.m. in the Congregational Church, Rochester, for Robert G. Hale 2d of Rochester, an employee of Shop 'n Save in Durham. He died Monday in Frisbie Memorial Hospital here after a long illness. He was 34.
Born in Wolfeboro, N.H., Mr. Hale lived in Bridgeport, Conn., before moving to Rochester eight years ago.
Mr. Hale attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro and was graduated from Kingswood Regional High School, also in Wolfeboro. He attended the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
He had worked at Shop 'n Save since 1979, first at the Rochester store and later in Durham as a manager in the store's delicatessen department.
While living in Bridgeport, Mr. Hale was director of the North End Boys Club and was a former member of the National Guard in Bridgeport. Also in Rochester, he was an active National Guard member and was involved in developing youth programs.
He leaves his wife, Kathy (Graff); a daughter, Patricia L. Hale of Rochester; a son, Michael D. Hale of Rochester; two brothers, Stephen R. of Wolfeboro and Matthew C. Hale of Framingham, Mass.; three sisters, Pamela N. Ackley of Andover, Mass., and W. Gay Edmunds and Deborah L. Skelley, both of Wolfeboro; and his parents, Robert G. and Candace A. Hale of Wolfeboro.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfboro.
