Ellen E. Chase, 85
NORTHBORO - Ellen E. (Miller) Chase, 85, of 10 Rogers Ave., formerly of Worcester, died yesterday in Thornton Nursing Home.
She leaves her husband, George W. Chase; a brother, Howard Miller of Worcester; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Hanga) Miller, and lived here 40 years.
Mrs. Chase was a member of Trinity Church and Vincent Picard Post, American Legion Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Worcester.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Leland-Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Burial will be in Howard Street Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions made to Trinity Church, Main Street, Northboro, 01532.
Ellen married George Williams Chase, son of George Cyrus Chase and Alice Williams.
