BLAINE E. CLEMONS
LEE -- Blaine E. Clemons, 26, died July 2, 1979 at Battle Lake in Lakeville Plantation as the result of a drowning accident.
He was born Aug. 27, 1952, in Lincoln, the son of Alfred and Winnefred (Whalen) Clemons. He was a member of the Maine National Guard for six years and graduated from Lee Academy in 1971. He was operating a potato farm with his father.
He is survived by his parents of Lee; one son, Blaine Clemons, Jr. of Winn; one sister, Miss Ann Clemons of Lincoln; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Burton Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Glenn Speed officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
