Margaret Nina Douglass, 73, 20 Liles St., Terra Ceia, died Sunday (March 21, 1982) at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Kent, Ohio, she came to this area from Hartford, Conn. 22 years ago where she was city manager. She was a realtor associate with Carl Bowen Real Estate for 15 years, member of the Terra Ceia Methodist Church where she was a lay leader, Braidentown chapter 87 O.E.S. and Terra Ceia V.I.A.
She leaves her husband, F. Vernon Douglass; two daughters, Virginia Moffitt of Vernon, Michigan and Nancy Metcalfe of Port Huename, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home, Palmetto. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Terra Ceia Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Kantz offiiating. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
