F. Vernon Douglass, 73, 22 Liles St., Terra Ceia, died Tuesday (Dec. 6, 1983) in Miami Beach.
Born in Springfield, Mass., he moved to the area from Vero Beach 25 years ago. He was a brick mason; member of Terra Ceia United Methodist Church; and Manatee Lodge 31.
He leaves his wife, Eva; two stepdaughters, Virginia Moffitt of Michigan and Nancy Metcalfe of the Virgin Islands; a sister, Lear LaForte of Massachusetts; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home, Palmetto.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Terra Ceia United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens.
