Fay C. Douglass
Fay C. Douglass, 72, of 42 Plymouth St., died at his home Sunday morning. Born in Lee, Sept. 26, 1880, he resided in this city 44 years. A construction superintendent, he was for 50 years a member of the AFL Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers Union. Mr. Douglass was a life member of the Esoteric Lodge of Masons.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Eva (Shaw) Douglass; a son, Fay V. of Weathersfield, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. Lear Laforte of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Virginia B. Brooks of Winchester; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Byron's Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 p.m. Rev. John E. Lind will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
