Teresa Kinert Dressel
Teresa "TeeDee" Kinert Dressel, 79, of Marco Island, Fla., formerly of Oak Park, died Aug. 28.
Mrs. Dressel was born Nov. 21, 1918 in Freeport, Ill., to Arthur and Mayme Ballas. She settled on Marco Island in 1992. She was a member of Marco Presbyterian Church, Christian Women's Club, Thursday Sunset Group, Marco Newcomers, various bridge groups, Marco Alumni, MITA and MICA. She was an avid bridge player, gardener and cook and made artistic jewelry creations for her friends and relatives.
She is survived by her two children, Anton "Tony" Kinert of Marco Island and Karen Kinert-McKenna of San Jose, Calif.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted by Dr. Bruce Fiol on Aug. 31 at the Marco Presbyterian Church.
Memorials were suggested for the Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.

Teresa married Harry F. Kinert, son of Henry Warren Kinert and Katherine Irene Lindsey, in February 1939. (Harry F. Kinert was born about 1917 in Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois and died 14 October 1969 in Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois 3596.) The cause of his death was heart attack.
