ARTHUR TRACEY MARSLAND
At his request, there will be no service for Arthur Tracey Marsland, who died Aug. 17, 1996, at age 86.
Mr. Marsland was born May 23, 1910, in Fortuna, N.D. He and moved to Baker City in the early 1930s. In 1935 he married Helen Hesner. He worked as a ranch hand, in mines and on a dredge in Sumpter Valley. He moved to Stockton, Calif., in the early 1940s and owned a service station until 1961. He also worked as a builder in Placerville, Calif. He and moved to Newberg in 1979 and later to Woodburn in 1993.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Darlene Sutton of Woodburn; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation.Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association or Providence Hospice Services. in care of Arrangements are by Attrell's Newberg Funeral Chapel., 207 Villa Road, Newberg 97132.
